SA Address Autocomplete for WooCommerce
Google Places autocomplete built for South African checkouts, clean addresses, required suburb, shipping rules that actually match.
South African WooCommerce stores lose sales at checkout for two reasons. Customers skip the suburb field, and when they do fill it in they spell it their own way, “Sandtn”, “sandtown”, “Sandton”. Your courier rules only match one spelling, so the customer sees “no shipping options” and leaves.
This plugin fixes both. When your customer starts typing their address, Google suggests real SA addresses. They pick one, and the plugin fills in the street, suburb, city, province, and postcode for you. Every address that reaches your orders screen is spelled the way Google spells it, so your shipping rules match every time.
What you get
- Address autocomplete on both the classic and block WooCommerce checkout, no toggle, the plugin works out what you have
- The same autocomplete on the My Account → Edit Address screens, so returning customers also benefit
- Suburb (Address Line 2) relabelled and made required, so no order reaches you without one
- Results locked to South Africa, no accidental Nigerian or UK addresses in your orders
- A Test API Key button on the settings page so you can confirm your setup before going live
60-second quick start
- Upload and activate the plugin ZIP.
- Enter your KasiCode license email and key, then click Activate.
- Paste your Google Places API key (you get this from your Google Cloud account, step-by-step guide here).
- Click Test API Key. Green tick means you’re live.
- Open your checkout in another tab and test it with your own address.
If any of that is unclear, the Getting Started guide walks through the whole thing with screenshots.
Who this is for
SA WooCommerce shop owners. Whether you run one store or manage twenty-five for clients, this plugin is built for you. If you ship inside South Africa and you match shipping rates by suburb or postcode, this plugin is the one that stops “no rates available” support tickets.
